Widgets for calendar, weather, and music apps like Apple Music or Spotify are built in. A full Now Playing controller lets users control audio without opening separate apps.

System information indicators—volume, display brightness, and battery level—are also displayed. Additionally, Top Shelf offers a Live Activity-like tracking feature for AI agents such as Codex and Claude Code.

When not in use, Top Shelf tucks away seamlessly, mirroring Bartender's familiar behavior. It even works on Macs without a notch, ensuring broad compatibility.

The original Bartender 6 launched last year, focusing on menu bar management. Bartender Pro builds on that foundation by adding the Top Shelf layer, effectively expanding the utility of the notch beyond simple camera housing.
